What the program is
Fable is a software application that sends automated, personalized messages to people who have opted in: calendar reminders, task alerts, notifications, and conversational responses to a recipient’s own requests, including messages sent at the request of the account owner. Messages are generated programmatically by the application. This is not a marketing program: it never sends promotional content, and it only messages individuals who have given consent.
How to opt in
Opt-in is collected individually from each recipient, in one of two ways:
- By text message: text START to the program’s number to begin receiving messages.
- By direct consent: a recipient personally known to the account owner agrees to receive messages from the program, and confirms by replying to a one-time confirmation message before any further messages are sent.
No one is messaged without their consent, and no contact lists are imported, purchased, or shared.
How to opt out and get help
- Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages.
- Reply START to opt back in.
- Reply HELP for help.
Message frequency and rates
Message frequency varies by recipient, typically a few messages per day for the account owner and occasional messages for other opted-in recipients. Message and data rates may apply.
Privacy
